To hear more, be sure to check out our employee reviews on Glassdoor! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BLOCK PLANT LABORER As an entry-level or experienced Block Plant Worker, you are manufacturing the materials our customers purchase and play an important role in our success.
Reliable, punctual, and attentive to safety, you will be responsible for many tasks relating to the upkeep of production-related machinery.
Working closely with the Block Plant Manager and Production Supervisor, you will complete general maintenance tasks required in the manufacturing of concrete block production and other block supply related products.
You will assist when required to aid the production of concrete products, as well as maintaining the concrete block molds for production.
With pride, you maintain your work area with regular cleanings, inspections, and service.
You have a positive, can-do attitude and are always willing to help out at the plant.
Have the ability to follow all safety rules and complete additional duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of basic tools and their uses Basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and arc welding Operation of tow motor Ability to learn and operate block production machinery Motivated, results orientated, and able to work in a team environment Ability to work well with others, be respectful, and respond to supervisor's instructions Ability and willingness to work as many hours as necessary to accomplish duties High School Diploma or equivalent at minimum preferred WORK SCHEDULE This full-time position generally works Monday - Friday, 7:
00 AM - 3:
00 PM with some flexibility, depending on projects.
